Present Perfect Tense

  Present Perfect Tense: - 

It is used to talk about an action that has been completed up to the present time period.

Identity– The Hindi sentences having चुका है','चुकी है','या है', 'आ  

है', 'ये हैं' in their end are Present Perfect Tenses.

 

 इन वाक्यों मे काम का वर्तमान काल में पूरा हो जाना पाया जाता है |

 

पहचान: इन वाक्यों के अन्त में 'चुका है','चुकी है','या है', 'आ  है', 'ये  हैं',आदि शब्द पाये जाते हैं । 

                Structure: S + HV + MV + O.

Points to be noticed-

• In this tense the main verb is used in past participle form (V3) form.

• It has two helping verbs ‘Has’ and ‘Have’.

• ‘Has’ - Singular subject.

•  ‘Have’ - Plural subject.

 

 

Sentence Structures:

·         Positive Statement Structure

                          S + HV + MV + O.

                    They have completed their job.

                        वे अपना काम पूरा कर चुके हैं |

 

 

·         Negative Statement Structure

                      S + HV + NOT + MV + O.

                  Rohit has not won the match.

                         रोहित ने मैच नहीं जीता है |

 

·         Positive Question Structure

                        HV + S + MV + O?

                       Has he got his chance?

                    क्या उसे मौका मिल चुका है ?

 

·         Negative Question Structure

                      HV + S+ NOT + MV + O?

                      Have you not paid the bill?

                         क्या आपने बिल नहीं दिया है?

 

·         Positive Question with Question Word Structure

                WH WORD + HV + S + MV + O ?

               How have you behaved like a snippy?

            आपने बदतमीज़ों कि तरह व्यवहार कैसे किया?

 

·         Negative Question with Question Word Structure

         WH WORD + HV + S + NOT + MV + O?

     Why have you not kept the jewelry under lock and Key? 

  आपने आभूषणों को  महफूज़ जगह पर क्यो नहीं रखा?
